Austin Tenants Council (ATC) works to promote the right of Central Texans to have a stable, decent place to live, work and play and promote renter protections that help make that happen. 

For the past 46 years, ATC has been funded through government grants and supporters like you. Today your support is more important than ever, as government funding does not cover our growing community and client base. 

Your gift will help pay for services like: 

•  a tenant counseling session that would prevent an eviction that costs a renter thousands of dollars and a lifetime of housing instability. 

• assisting a disabled person in obtaining a reasonable accommodation or reasonable modification to their rental housing to allow them the full use and enjoyment of the property.

• a mediation to help a renter obtain repairs of conditions that threaten their health and safety.
